Datuk Kenn Yam is the visionary entrepreneur behind Kathari, bringing over 35 years of experience across property development, renewable energy, retail, digital infrastructure and technology-led ventures. Known for identifying emerging opportunities and transforming ideas into commercially scalable businesses, his career has been shaped by innovation, strategic partnerships and an ability to bridge private enterprise with national development priorities. As Managing Director, Datuk Kenn leads Kathari with the conviction that food security and sustainable agro-economics represent the next major frontier for growth and investment. His vision is to transform Kathari beyond conventional agriculture into a technology-enabled agro-economic platform — creating new pathways for commercial growth, strategic investment and enduring value for shareholders and future generations.

Anthony Bieri

Chief Executive

Leads the development of Kathari's integrated agro-economic platform with commercial discipline, technology expertise and global supply-chain.

Anthony Bieri brings over 20 years of international experience in commercial strategy, procurement, technology, supply-chain management and governance across leading global organisations including Nestlé, AirAsia, Standard Chartered Bank, AIA and British American Tobacco. He has led global teams, managed strategic partnerships and negotiated and governed contracts exceeding US$500 million. As CEO of Kathari Holdings, Anthony brings this combination of commercial discipline, technology expertise and global supply-chain experience to the development of Kathari’s integrated agro-economic platform. His leadership is focused on connecting land, technology, production and strategic partnerships while building the operational discipline and governance required to scale Agriland-as-a-Service™ and the Kathari National Agro Reserve sustainably.

Richard Chee brings over 25 years of corporate and investment experience spanning private equity, strategic investments, market expansion and business growth across Asia-Pacific. As Managing Partner of Sky Ventures Capital, he has developed extensive experience identifying growth opportunities, structuring strategic partnerships and connecting capital with businesses positioned for long-term value creation. As Kathari’s Director of Investments, Richard leads the Group’s investment and capital strategy, cultivating relationships with institutional investors, family offices and strategic capital partners. Beyond securing investment, he works alongside management to strengthen Kathari’s investment proposition, unlock new growth opportunities and progressively enhance enterprise valuation — ensuring that capital raised translates into sustainable growth and long-term value creation for shareholders.

Prof. Dr. Siva K. Balasundram

Agriculture Planning Advisor

Brings agricultural planning into every stage of the model, from land-use design to production systems and resilient resource planning.

Prof. Dr. Siva K. Balasundram is a leading specialist in precision agriculture, soil science and agricultural technology, bringing decades of academic, research and industry expertise to Kathari. As Professor and Head of the Department of Agriculture Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), his work bridges scientific research with real-world agricultural applications. At Kathari, Prof. Siva advises on crop and soil planning, precision agriculture and R&D strategy, while connecting growers to research capabilities through Kathari’s collaboration with UPM. His extensive industry, government, academic and international networks across the agricultural ecosystem, combined with his scientific expertise, strengthen Kathari’s ability to forge strategic partnerships, access research and innovation resources, advance technology-led cultivation and translate agricultural research into commercially scalable solutions for KNAR.
